This will be a war strategy based city builder set in the late medieval times, involving guns, dragons, giant animals, etc.
In the land of Terraria a great war was fought between the 6 races that lived in a precarious balance, until a new evil arouse, the Undead, who brought war to the (fairly) peaceful land, splitting the races into various factions, uprooting and dividing families, murdering innocents, and butchering armies. By now they have found their place among a dark alliance called "The Brotherhood" worshiping a dark god called "Azarith" while the other faction, called "The Order" fighting for what they call 'good', they worship a small pantheon of gods, too many of which to name. Both have been fighting for years with no end in sight, by now a hotly contested area of resources has been so scorched with angry blood and magic that is now a nearly uninhabitable badlands. Both sides have been working to restore it and blame the other, but still fight in it, so their motions to restore it are constantly ruined by their constant fighting.
Faction races
The Order: Elves "Nature"- Obviously, a nature oriented faction, using the animals to their advantage having a wide variety of mounts from Giant bears, to huge eagles. Though Frail and have lesser melee infantry Humans "Light"- A combination of Humans and their larger cousins the Giants, they have perfected the Chariot and heavy armor, and use it to their advantage in battle, but due to this, even their cavalry is slower in battle. Dwarves "Machine"- Focusing on their technological advances, the dwarves have a large variety of machinery like Iron tanks and Zepplins. But they lack any magic, being completely opposed to it.
The "Brotherhood" Undead "Death"- Having vastly superior troops, they can take a lot of enemies one on one, but they lack in numbers, they can start to become overwhelmed against a numerically superior enemy. Orcs "War"- being made up of Orcs and Ogres, both are the most brutish race, ogres being stronger and stupider, they have some of the best conventional weapons and warriors, making use of elephants, also investing themselves into alchemy as weaponry. Though they are the stupidest race, their tactics are sub par at best and cannot form coherent battle plans, being heavily reliant on their smarter dark elf cousins. Dark Elves "Magic"- they are a race heavily reliant on magic, having the best magic users in the land, but they have very little armor among their armies, mostly relying on either magic or speed.

Hmm I thought wood was a resource... I guess we can't just use it instead of selling it before buying it back just to use it. I guess since we're a city we'll have to make an economy... Also, remind what is a turn seeing as this is the third post since I've declared the command of designing better housing.

If you can't fit all four commands for the workers, ignore the Storage build command.

I guess we can only ride giant eagles ****...
Well ill send 100 workers to make a lumber mill with a 50 soldier escort, I will send another 50 workers to find a rock quarry, and another 50 workers to gather enough resources to make a mine or whatever is needed to gather rocks with a 25 soldier escort to both of them.
I have 25 researchers research a bow, if that is already unlocked I have them research a long bow to give elven soldiers more accuracy, I then have 25 researchers upgrade from wooden arrows to stone arrows, only if wooden arrows are not already unlocked in which case I would research wooden arrows.
