Thanks for the advice Matt. I can draw and have drawn male characters but I vastly prefer female ones.

I must mention again that many of the doodles I do are based on paintings/anime characters that are out there, but I can't seem to find the sources since these were done some time ago....I'm heading out to free-drawing now, but it takes time getting adjusted to. Hope that's fine, just in case of plagiarism claims.

Not usually a huge fan of Anime characters/art but I really like the sketchy rough outlines and you've got good shadowing. What do you use to draw them? (apologies if you already answered this.)

Thank you for your kind words. I use a regular 2B pencil (really hard, since I don't have darker shades), and my finger/edge of the tissue to shade. If they don't appear dark enough due to the scanner, I might use Photoshop, and duplicate the layers, but that's about it.
