In the first full page one, her eyes are a bit too far apart. The mouth should be a little more defined and lower to the chin, in my opinion. And her hands are a bit bulky. In this one on page 4, you already know she's too thin, but also her eyes are just a wee bit too far apart. They are still great, though. I look forward to seeing more, soon~
This one's my first really really free hand drawing chibi, I based it on someone I know. I'm not happy with the hair one bit, except that little bit of light shining on her hair on top....then again it needs to be tapered. I'm not happy with the shading as well, but hey, practicing is learning. ^^
If I may give some tips from my own observing of chibis, you should make the head a bit bigger, almost 'bobblehead' like, and the neck should be less exposed, almost nonexistent.
There is also a considerable thigh gap and the torso is a bit more squarish in chibi form, and sometimes there is a slight indication from the feet by having a bit of a point jutting out in a stubby way (although this is up to personal preference).
All in all, I really like it, and you're improving really rapidly. =3
Yup thank you Rip for the pointers! I'm reading quite a few guides and browsing through anime to get better! Hope i do, it's been roughly two months since I started.
