i'm remaking the first game i ever made

here's the story if you don't know what geneforge is

Geneforge 3 is a fantasy role-playing game with science fiction elements. It is, of course, the third game in the Geneforge series, and it tells the next chapter in this epic tale. However, I have been very careful to make sure that experience with the previous games is completely unnecessary to enjoy Geneforge 3.

The Geneforge saga tells the story of the Shapers. They are a secret sect of powerful magicians, with the ability to create and design life from scratch and mold it to suit their purposes. They can create hordes of deadly, totally obedient servants, and send them to do their dirty work.

the Shaping mechanic makes Geneforge stand out a lot. You can create your own monsters, give them the skills you want, and command them. Creations get stronger the longer you have them

They are incredibly powerful and influential, and pretty much control their world. Regular people and creations both depend on and resent the Shapers. Some hate them enough to rebel, which is the overall storyline of the series. As Geneforge 3 begins, the rebellion has finally broken out.

ok that's enough depending on what sect you choose, then you start somewhere

Sects
Shapers: the ones who believe their powers should be kept secret, they feel no emotion for the life they create, and are very strict

Rebels: for various reasons they believe people should know at least some, they have feelings for the creations, and are more lax

Trakovites: they believe the power shouldn't exist and should be sealed away (unplayable)



classes:
Shaper:
Agent: stealthy and quick, you usually work alone or in small groups best at magic weak in shaping

Shaper: you create the life, though you are physically frail you can make many creations at once best at shaping weak at melee

Guardian: you are the guards and tanks you are best at melee but weak at magic

rebel classes:

Servile: you escaped their rule and fight for the rebel cause
best at melee, weak at shaping

swordsman: the rebel equivalent of guardian

life crafter: equivalent of shaper

Operative: equivalent to agent

Shock trooper: quick and deadly you are best at shaping, but weak at magic

you wake up in your sleeping bag and remember, your still in the dirty ill fed, ill equipped camp. You had a dream, you were all powerful, people trembled as you walked by then something came up and... ended there. you get up and dressed in the half a house you have and exit through the door, where do you head? (it's a small camp of mostly refugee's there's nothing special here, but you'd wanna go to your trainer)

you head out to your trainer,Kahz, he is a tall thin man (from malnutrition) with blond hair and some 5 o clock shadow

he sits there weak and gets up as you walk he then says "Talow good we need you to steal us some food supplies from a nearby Shaper town they usually keep the farms outside of the walls so it shall be easy if the guards don't spot you, here's a map. If you need anything go to storage room 3 we should have something there"

all there is is a few magic spray crystals (small crystals that activate when you throw to various effects, these ones are ice spray)
some javelins (heavy but high damage range wep

a baton and thorns (foot long half living,half wood, used to shoot low damage thorns, but it won't slow you down it also has poison and acid thoirns)

and a bronze sword and buckler

can pick on of the groups
