"Ah," Cleric Aramil says, nodding. "I'm afraid there's not much I can tell you. You might speak to Captain Dragonsbane at the barracks for information on the murders themselves, or Cleric Silverheart at the Church of Lathander."

I shall seek out this Captain Dragonsbane.
....Thanks.... *leaves quietly*

The carpenter shop, tailor shop, or the hunter's lodge

You go to the carpenter shop where the third victim, One-Eye Garrick, used to work.
"Whaddya want?" a gnome carpenter asks, leaving his work and walking up to you.

I go o captain Dragonsbane, and also sample the water (using keen elf senses hehe) to see if it seems 'off'.

You sample the water to see if it tastes strange; you taste nothing odd in it.
You head to the barracks to talk to Captain Dragonsbane. After being admitted by the guard, you enter the barracks and manage to find the officers' quarters. You're met by a tall human in banded mail, with a greatsword strapped to his back. He introduces himself as Deric Dragonsbane, captain of the Winterbrook Guard and lead investigator on the murders.
"I'm afraid I can't talk now, though," he says, "I'm a bit busy. There will be a town security meeting in a few hours though, you should come to that. We will definitely be discussing the murders. Until then, do whatever investigating you need to do."

I ask around for where the town's water comes from and exactly where.

"Sorry," says the first person you ask, "I dunno nuffin."
"Go away," says the second person, punching you in the face.
"I can't tell you anything," says the third, shrugging.
"Oh, we all get our water from that big well, except for Cleric Silverheart, he only drinks his own special blessed water," says the fourth, pointing to a well in the center of town. "Not sure where the well water comes from, though."

I shall seek out this Captain Dragonsbane.

OOC: Well, my guess is werewolf(s) (we are near the WEREWOODS!) or the werewolf is the cover-up...

Investigation? Who said I was here for an investigation? This is something far worse then an investigation, this may very well be an Inquisition, for murder is a serious offense, and those responsible must be dealt with accordingly! (playing him as Lawful Neutral, and partially pretending to be a cleric, he wears Breastplate and carries a longsword) I DO NOT take this matter lightly, and I will exorcise some justice around here. Where were the bodies found? *proceeds towards the crime scene upon discovering where to go*

"Indeed," Captain Dragonsbane says in agreement. "Padfoot was found at the tailor's shop where she worked, Urthadar was found at the Hunter's Lodge, also where he worked, and Garrick was found in the stables at the Flickerflame Inn."
To which crime scene will you go first?

i go to the bar (other one) and get a drink and play my mandolin "~hello my good sir, have you heard of the recent murders?~~~"

It's more like +1...honestly, why did you put such a low score in Charisma if you were going to do this kind of thing?
"Shut up, you suck at playing that thing," says one patron, tossing a mug at you. You manage to dodge it, then you remember that this is the "bad" bar in town...less savory people hang out here than at the Drunken Dragon.

I ask around for where the village's water comes from.

I already responded to this but...

I go to Cleric the Church of Lathander.

You find the Church of Lathander; it's a large building, white with columns, stained-glass windows, and two large double doors at the entrance. Above the entrance you can see a rising sun(the symbol of Lathander, the Morninglord) in stained glass. You enter and are greeted by a human cleric wearing Cleric's Vestments over chainmail, with a mace at his side and a silver holy symbol strung around his neck.
"Greetings," he says, "I'm Jozan Silverheart, cleric of Lathander. I also do a lot of the healing around here. What can I do for you, sir?"
