Some of you may remember me- some of you may even remember the first Psychic RPG! It was pretty successful, and I'm hoping this will be too.
2112 - First contact with an alien species - the Q'eth. 2114 - War breaks out between humanity and Q'eth. 2154 - The war ends in victory for the humans; however, Earth is now a charred wasteland. 2160 - Humans leave Earth using Q'eth technology and establish colonies. 2185 - Humanity enters what becomes known as the golden age: technology becomes highly advanced, conflict is non-existent. 2250 - Q'eth forces raze the outlying colony of Babel IV, having sent a fleet to find the Q'eth who disappeared 140 years before. 2276 - Humanity is rapidly pushed back by the seemingly endless swarms of Q'eth troops. 2300 - Kan Dexith, a survivor of Babel IV, discovers that the Q'eth are weak to large amounts of psychic energy. 2312 - The Last Hope project produces two psychic powered human children. 2317 - The psychics are sent to a station orbiting the red giant star Lexis for testing.

--Leveling Up and Experience--
You gain experience from all sorts of things- fighting, sing your powers inventively... Once you have ten experience, you level up. When you level up, add four points to your stats wherever you see fit. You also add your class bonus. When you level up, you get a choice between two new abilities.
--Classes--
Telepath -You'll gain the ability to read and control minds, appear invisible, and wield deadly neural shock attacks. Class Bonus: Add 2 to Stamina when you level up.
Telekinetic -You'll be able to move, levitate, manipulate and throw all manner of objects when you become more powerful. Class Bonus: Add 2 to Power when you level up.
Manipulator -You'll be able to teleport, control fire, electricity and other forms of energy. Class Bonus: Add 2 to speed upon level up.

When you level up, I'll offer you a choice between two new powers. Every time you use an ability, your Energy will go down.

You head into what was once a supply room. You find: -A Medikit (Recovers 50% Health) -A combat knife
To the north, you see thunderclouds brewing. To the south, there's a high, rocky mound with several caves. To the east, you see a piece of wreckage that separated from the shuttle when it crashed. To the west you see nothing.
The airlock opens with a swoosh, and you step into a clean white room. There's a bed, a small table, and a fridge. Mounted on the far wall is a circular grille with a glowing blue dot beneath it. The dot flashes brighter as you walk in. A sarcastic feamle voice fills your ear. "Congratulations. You've proved you can work an airlock. Hmph. I can't believe I'm being forced to babysit some half arsed attempt at an anti Q'eth weapon. Come on then, newbie." The light flashes brighter, and a pencil thin beam of light is projected on your chest. There's another flash, and you find yourself spinning through a vortex of light and sound before you fall out, ten feet in the air. You land with a thump and a yell of shock. "Awww. Where you scared by the little fall? I am really sorry about that" You are in a large, cube shaped room. Lines of blue race over the white walls, forming grid patterns. In front of you, a sharp plastic knife lies on a pedestal. You take it, and the pedestal retracts into the floor. "Alright, let's see how you handle yourself in a fight. Try not to die - It wold make a terrible mess on the floor." With a flicker, a large cube teleports in and hovers about three feet of the ground. Sparks writhe over it's grey surface. It spins towards you. What do you do?

With a cry, you jump up and throw yourself at the man. The syringe goes flying as he goes over, smacking his head off the floor. [+6 XP] You snatch the syringe with a fluid movement. The door is about five metres away. The man begins to stir, and his phone begins to ring. What do you do?

You dash for the door. As you do, the phone goes over to the answering machine. "Kan? Kan? Is it done? There's an emergency - an attack over New Saha-" You here no more, because you dash right into the view of a security guard. He's wearing padded grey body armor, and carrying a large handgun. You notice that there is no armor around his neck. What do you do?

You put your hands up, and when his hands go to belt, you lunge forward and slam the syringe into his neck. With a strangled gasp, he falls backward. From the stab wound, his veins stand up against his skin and turn a bright yellow. His heart stops in four seconds. You take his gun and security pass. [+10XP]

New Ability Options:
a) Mind Reader I: Read minds with complete fluency from up to 50 feet away. 1 energy to use. b) Sudden Impluse: Control a mind completely for 1 second. 5 energy to use. c) Perception Filter I: Unless people are looking for you, they won't see you, though they can still touch, smell and hear you. Costs 5 for 120 seconds.
