This is an RPG based on what would happen if the Cuban Missile Crisis were not to be resolved.
TIMELINE FROM HISTORY SPLIT- November 1962 - An intercontinental ballistic missile is fired upon U.S. territory. Immediately, the U.S. retaliates with a nuclear bomb on Cuba's capital city.
December 1962 - The Soviet Union becomes involved, firing loads upon loads of missiles on important industrial cities throughout the U.S.
January 1963 - Nearly all important scientists and political figures are evacuated to top-secret underground safe-houses. Both the U.S.S.R. and the U.S. are nearly in ruins from nuclear attacks.
February 1963 - Nuclear bombing has destroyed nearly all of Europe. Millions of lives have been lost to radiation poisoning.
May 2011 - Both NATO and the Warsaw Pact are in ruins. The remaining scientists and politicians begin to come out from their safe-houses and build new civilizations from the ruins of the world.
February 2210 - Two distinct governments have been formed out of the ruins of the U.S. These governments are The New Federation and The Territorial Confederate Alliance, abbreviated the N.F. and T.C.A respectively.
November 2210 - Hostility forms between these two adjacent "countries".
July 2211 - This hostility eventually breaks out into a bloody, full fledged war.
The year is 2212, and you can live in this world as a civilian, politician, soldier or scientist. You get to decide.

Sorry for double post, but also can you describe the situation a little bit more. Like how many guards there are, how much ammo there is exactly, and are there other guards around the area.
