Okay, so, apparently TRF wants to lose the old thread until such time as Dibs sees fit to return.
So, as per his request, I have made a new thread. I, of course, don't see exactly why this is necessary, but I suppose it won't hurt anything to accommodate Turf.
So, I guess this will just be a continuation of the prior thread with the old characters and we'll pick up where Dibs left off. I suggested that Noob DM this one, but being that he doesn't have any of the source material beyond what's on the internet, he declined. That being the case, if there are no objections, I guess I will be DMing this one. I won't have access to my books myself for another week or two, so if it's okay, I guess I'll be using a homemade campaign. And as far as the campaign goes, expect to see a lot of stuff that's not exactly D&D canon, because, as I said, I don't have my sourcebooks right now. Unless, of course, someone else wants to DM, in which case, I'd be more than happy to step aside.
Unfortunately, I do not think that this game will be accepting any more players. This thread is here for the sole purpose of reducing clutter in the other. It will actually be a lot easier - it was getting to be a pain, navigating that other one with all the pages it had(we were almost at 4,000!).
To start off, I'm going to request that we all post our sheets(I'll track mine down later) and if there is anyone who would like to DM or has any requests to that effect or which concern the next campaign, speak now or forever hold your peace.
Cheers.

"Is that all you know?"

"Like I said, until just recently Chardath Spulzeer was following the example of his great-uncle Kelamar, who died well before he was born, by the way. That kinda thing runs in the family, I guess."

He leaves and goes to....... the Badger place.

You walk in just in time to hear them telling Free all this.

"Well, you already know Chardath's a psycho and Kartak's even worse, don'tcha? It made the family very wealthy, cuz they would have entertainment for passing travelers, you know. Like a circus. Built by Tregas Spellseer, but it was his son Farkas who turned it into the entertainment center. It was famous for its ale. Everybody who passed from Amn to Tethyr would stop by Castle Spulzeer."
"You know, some say that people paid off the Spellseers even back then, to assassinate passing diplomats and politicians by poisoning their ale."
"Yeah, and I don't doubt it one tick, not with that family's history. I heard that Kartak Spulzeer was a serial killer. They caught and executed him, but then he turned into a lich."
"Anyway, Castle Spulzeer was a very influential circus, after Tregas the Younger of the Spulzeer family came along. He was an investing type, made loads of money. Some say he used divination, but it's ridiculous. He made some bad bets in his time, lost some money too. Anyway, Tregas the Younger buddied up with the royal family, put the Spulzeers in their good graces."
"I hear it was because had an affair with the princess."
"Yeah, yeah. Anyway, Castle Spulzeer became a spot not to miss for any traveler. Then, the Amnian-Tethyrian border changed and suddenly the Spulzeers found themselves under the control of King Haedrak the Second of Tethyr. Marinessa Spulzeer, the current leader of the family, made nice with the king though, and she got him to declare that the castle a Royal Dependency allowed its own laws and customs."
"I heard it was because she slept with the king."
"Omar, you think everyone's boinking everyone. Just shut up and let me finish the story. Now, when-"
"It's true, though."
"**** it Omar, I don't care if it's true or not. Will you stop interrupting me already?"
"Okay, okay. Sorry."
"Anyway, like I was saying, Castle Spulzeer became a spot not to miss for the world. Now, Marinessa Spulzeer had two kids. The first was a girl named Tamar, who was kidnapped by some freak who worked at a passing circus."
"No man, she wasn't kidnapped. That's just a story that Marinessa Spulzeer passed around to try and lessen the embarrassment of the whole thing. She ran off with the circus freak!"
"I'm telling the story, Torrin! Anyway, the second was Kelamar Spulzeer. He turned Castle Spulzeer into a very different kinda circus, the sadistic kind, y'know. There were stories of torture, fights to the death between unarmed servants and ogres, a waitress tied to a wheel and spun while drunkards threw knives at her. And they never did catch Kelamar Spulzeer, or any of his friends."
"Yes, they did! Are you joking? Kelamar Spulzeer was tied to a tree by the constables and used as target practice by the archers!"
"That's a lie! He was murdered by his so-called niece Kaisha, supposedly Tamar's long lost daughter, who returned just as her uncle Kelamar was killed to take control of Castle Spulzeer. That's one hell of a coincidence, wouldn't you say? Especially considering that Tamar never had a husband or a boyfriend!"
"Yes she did, you idiot! Weren't you listening to me? She ran off with that circus freak!"
"No, like I said, she was kidnapped. She didn't run off with nobody. Now, Kaisha 'Spulzeer' assumed control of Castle Spulzeer, but it was in shambles by the time she was murdered by her son Chardath Spulzeer-"
"**** you, it didn't happen that way. She died of natural causes."
"I heard she was murdered, but not by Chardath. She was killed by the grandson of one of the people murdered by Kelamar Spulzeer, or something like that."
"Would you just let me finish the story, already?! Now, after Chardath Spulzeer murdered his mother, he started going the way of his great great uncle Kelamar, which is to say, returning Castle Spulzeer to its former glory through very similar means, though not quite as sadistic. Gambling, debauchery, you know. Then all of a sudden, he stopped. Became a real recluse, of course, he was always a psycho, but as of late he's been particularly-" he whistles and circles his finger around his forehead. "Anyway, that's all."
"Except Chardath Spulzeer ain't no fighter at all, he's a sorcerer."
"What? You're so full of crap, Omar."
"Like everything you just said wasn't made up."
"It wasn't!"

I was joking, hence the silly face at the end of the sentence.

"A ***amajigger."

"WHAT DID YOU JUST CALL ME?!"
Keep in mind, they're all drunk. Lol.

"That guy did it..."
He points at an empty chair.

"Whaa!" The offended drunkard, unable to tell if you're lying or not, picks up the chair and swings it at you. He misses horribly, but ends up smashing it against the wall. The bartender stands up quickly.
"OUT!" he yells, pointing towards the door. "All of you!"

"Sir, it was just me. These men did nothing. I will gladly pay for the chair before I leave. Will a gold be sufficient?"
