Okay, so, apparently TRF wants to lose the old thread until such time as Dibs sees fit to return. So, as per his request, I have made a new thread. I, of course, don't see exactly why this is necessary, but I suppose it won't hurt anything to accommodate Turf. So, I guess this will just be a continuation of the prior thread with the old characters and we'll pick up where Dibs left off. I suggested that Noob DM this one, but being that he doesn't have any of the source material beyond what's on the internet, he declined. That being the case, if there are no objections, I guess I will be DMing this one. I won't have access to my books myself for another week or two, so if it's okay, I guess I'll be using a homemade campaign. And as far as the campaign goes, expect to see a lot of stuff that's not exactly D&D canon, because, as I said, I don't have my sourcebooks right now. Unless, of course, someone else wants to DM, in which case, I'd be more than happy to step aside. Unfortunately, I do not think that this game will be accepting any more players. This thread is here for the sole purpose of reducing clutter in the other. It will actually be a lot easier - it was getting to be a pain, navigating that other one with all the pages it had(we were almost at 4,000!). To start off, I'm going to request that we all post our sheets(I'll track mine down later) and if there is anyone who would like to DM or has any requests to that effect or which concern the next campaign, speak now or forever hold your peace. Cheers.
Mord is right, you're technically not supposed to modify specific weapons, and Frostburn is a specific weapon. However, if you really want to, I suppose you can do so. But it will take a highly, highly skilled blacksmith of the kind you can't just find, and it will be far more expensive than normal(say, double or triple price).
Blacksmiths enchant weapons? It also seems that every weapon on that specific magit items list has a nice little effect (example: Sunblade, Oathbow, Shifter's Sorrow) on the side, how does a 2-enchantment bow count as 'Specific'?
Actually, Rem doesn't have any money left to loan. That ring was pretty expensive. >.>
"Knowing you, that ring does something impressive. Am I right?"
Rem scowls darkly at Mord. "First of all...you know nothing about me, which I am sure is a good thing for both of us. Second, if my ring had any special properties, why would I tell you?"
"Actually, I have realized that you try to stand out the very least you possibly can. For you to wear such a bold and impressive ring such as that, it must do something incredibly powerful in order to offset the flashiness. You are fairly easy to read."
Now you should see why I can play others characters so well. I have a very analytical mind.

Well it's not particularly bold or flashy. It's gold and wrought, so you can tell it's expensive, but there aren't any gems or anything. Anyway... Rem glares daggers at Mord like he's trying to murder him with his mind for a few seconds, then he starts to laugh. Not a nice laugh, but a somewhat amused one. "I may not murder you yet," he says, walking away. That's about as close to a compliment as you'll get from Rem, being a good-aligned elf and all.

Duly noted.
The next time you see Rem, he's wearing black gloves that hide the ring.
"I guess I was right. Cover up the big, shiny ring with all the powers by wearing a set of mundane gloves. You're actually starting to get a bit predictable."

"Maybe so," Rem says. "But I suppose if you understand one's most powerful motivations, you can predict all of their responses to given situations. You are relatively easy to understand as well."
Will you be a player or DM right now. Hyper seems to have already gotten something worked out, so I think it would be best is she went through that before you assumed command.
Well Dragon since the stability of my ability to be on is not yet assured, it might be best if I was a player for now. But I really do not want you guys to use your other characters for this since we are a pivotal point in my campaign and this might ruin everything.
