i'll make you a slinger
So you are in a boat heading to north africa to attack the expansive egyptian empire. after a rather short voyage you reach the burning desert of Africa. not much different than your homeland so you still feel at home. after a short march a small egyptian army from a nearby town meets you. they're commander astride a beautiful chariot comes out and your commander riding a horse comes as well. they meet in no mans land and after a short discussion they go back to their respective army. Your commander looks at a veteran Captain whom has strange foreign garb and wields his native weapons. he has no armor and wears only a loincloth with those diapers the gladiators wore. he has a helmet that encompasses his entire head with a pointed crest and a crescent moon shield with a large curved sword. the man yells in a heavily accented Punic "CHARGE!"
