Story from FSBG: It is the year 2280 earth made contact with many different alien species making the desolate space of past into a habitat crawling with different species but all is not well, many different wars were caused by the Xenophobia of earth in their past. ---- During the bloody war between the newly inter-planetary Human federation, and the Midor-Fandor Unified nation; as the land battles rage on. (Also if you want to revive FSBG I can do that) In space, even worse ones occur. The Humans in their ignorant ways have declared war on the Fandor and Midor whose first intentions were to establish colonies and trade posts and now raise mighty armies. You will play in a small single seat fighter and make ends meat in the army, and then eventually have ships of whatever class you please.
Races: Fandor-Midor Unified Nation --------------------------- Midor: Tall, red aliens with long faces and slender bodies, they are super smart but weak. Their space tech is by far the best in terms of weapons, all their ships are bristling with guns, and their ship armor isn't bad either. But boarding is almost nonexistent (Boarding is of importance). Live to 250
Fandor: Almost a brother race to the Midors, they are human sized with very broad shoulders and a pig like face, their skin color varies from green, to dark grey. stupid and barely have any armor on the ships, like they were held together by super glue and duct tape and the weapons are fair, but almost undefeated in boarding with their awe inspiring melee weapons. Live to 150.
Human Faction ------------- Human: Great ships, with strong armor and fair weapons and below average at boarding.
Helghast: They have a completely pale white complexion and are much slimmer than humans this is a slave race, under the grateful control of the Humans who they shall die for almost a foot shorter than your average human. Super advanced armor on the ships building off of human tech with fair weapons and weak boarders. Live to 40.
Mercenaries ----------- Malkien: Mercenaries, fight for any side that pays they are foot taller than the average human, pale purple-blue complexion, with long prehensile tails with cat-like eyes. All around average. Live to 120.

if there is any you're still not clear on, just ask me.
Well no i wouldnt just fly around, i would go to places of settlement and ask for other work.
that's not what is there, in the colonies near the border there is military and moar military, the only place you'd find civilians or people of importance to warrant jobs is much further back. and even then you'd have to be known to be trusted
the hell else you wanna do? race? what else are you gonna do in space? dance? there's fighting and flying and landing and braking and shooting and dodging
Fighting is good, but let us do more than just fights for the military.
what other fights? for your woman? for your steak? i mean that's why i have a ****ing independent race, for people who don't want to be tied to the military. you wanna be a pirate? a ****ing other race for that
A case of linear vs. Nonlinear, simple vs. Complex systems. Also no that in my game there were no real factions or sides really and i developed it to make a good freelancer environment.
From Ian Malcolm of Jurassic Park:
Chaos Theory says two things. First , that complex systems like weather have an underlying order. Second, the reverse of that-that simple systems can produce complex behavior.
