There are too many "Kill _" threads popping out there. This one is different.
First of all, you are only limited to the technology that is available. You must not only kill the man, but you must also discover new technology before the guy gets too powerful.
Also, the guy gains powers and skills. One change is that the guy's HP grows to the quadratic formula based on the posts from his last death... (x squared [just multiply X by itself])
Just a few rules to start with...

Yes, while trying to make a spear, you accidentally make a spark and cause some wood to light up. You wonder what has happened, since there was no storm. You hit your stones again and make more fire. You gather friends and teach them, and spread the knowledge of fire.
I lean against a tree and notice it leans back. I get a bigger tree and a boulder and it works, until I get off, when the tree snaps upright and the boulder flies away. I use a similar method and crush the guy on a rock.

I take a really long stick set it on fire and then stab the guy in the chest with it until he catches on fire.
You set the long stick on fire and quickly stab the guy. He catches on fire. Unfortunately, he fell in a lake and half-drowned. He got out and spit out blood and water.
