There are too many "Kill _" threads popping out there. This one is different.
First of all, you are only limited to the technology that is available. You must not only kill the man, but you must also discover new technology before the guy gets too powerful.
Also, the guy gains powers and skills. One change is that the guy's HP grows to the quadratic formula based on the posts from his last death... (x squared [just multiply X by itself])
Just a few rules to start with...

I try to make my own sword, but I mistakenly cut a piece of rock that's too big. I get rid of it. When I finally succeed in making a sword, I try to sharpen it, but the end just snaps off. I toss it off, and it lands on the other rock, but doesn't break it.
I "find" a bendy stick and attempt to make it into a U shape.
It's somewhat "bendy" but it snaps back into shape when you let go.
I go to an active volcano.

As sacriledge, I throw a piece of rock into the volcano, and notices it melts stangely.

I decide to try and use the flat stone as a weapon. I hurl it like a discus at the guy's neck and it bludgeons his windpipe.
You attempt to hurl it at the guy's windpipe, but he ducks just in time and does not get hurt. (you attacked from the front) The man also grabs the stone and uses it as a shield.
