This is an RPG where their is a castle in the kingdom of Donchester. Everyone in the kingdom was, originally, friendly and peace loving with their king. One day the king died. Their was, of course, a ceremony of the death, but people began to panic. this was simply because they king had no sons or daughters because he died of early age. In the old days, if this happened, the king title was usually given to the closest of the king's general. This kingdom, however, has many generals, all of which wanted the king's throne and the castle. The king told his closest general, Ivory, he was king. however no one liked him, so the kingdom broke out in war.
You are assuming the position of one of the kings generals, or a rising one from military ranks. you want to be the king, and its castle. But Ivory has closely gaurded the castle, and you will need lots of strength to defeat him and take the castle.

IN THIS GAME THEIR WILL BE PVP. thats a no-brainer. EVERYONE will be trying to take the castle. You will start off with your choice of a unit, which you will use to raid the castle. raiding the castle is what this game is about. The person who controls the castle will have options on upgrading it and all of its defenses. these stats will be shown below. (currently the controller of the castle is ivory, who is AI controlled). I will descide the outcomes of ALL raids, you must say "im raiding the castle" when you do then i will calculate the outcome (which may take some time).
1ST UNIT OPTIONS:
light infantry lvl 1: (0/10 XP) power: 5, melee speed: 10 Cost: 50 gold quicker then most units, light infantry gets the job done. melee, not to powerful, but levels up quickly
Heavy infantry lvl 1: (0/15 XP) power: 10, melee speed: 5 cost: 100 gold powerful, slow, and hard to level up, these guys will be more of a later-in-game option (although they can be your 1st choice). but, they will crush most resistance at a small cost
Archers lvl 1: (0/10 XP) power: 5, ranged Speed: 15 cost: 75 gold they are your immediate ranged option, cheap, and easy to use with a little strategy. they are no your best choice 1st thing, but will be big later on.
The above are your only options for starting. the blelow are some higher tier units.
Catapult lvl 1: (0/50 XP) power: 50, ranged Speed: stationary cost: 500 gold these bad boys will destroy anything unit, and take large portions of the castle walls or defenses before most fighting begins. these are hard to level up, but are the powerhouse of the competition
cannons lvl 1: (0/100 XP power: 75, ranged speed: 5 cost: 750 gold these guys are an easy substitute for catapults, and can be moved. they are focused more on smashing units then they catapult, which is used for smashing castle defenses. hard to level up, yet very rewarding.
Brutes lvl 1: (0/30 XP) power: 15, melee speed: 10 cost: 150 gold these are the more heavy hitting melee. they get the job done faster then anything else, leaving the competition behind. they are meduim-ish to level up, once you have basic units they are good.
those are just a small portion of what i have in stock. more units will be available if people actually get interested into this game, and i will have to think more in-depth about it. Units will level up. this is a big part of the game, and units gain XP passively when raiding. this is not perma-death, units heal after every raid.

You may only raid once a day. your timer will be calculated judging by your post time, not mine. note theat you may fail, but will gain XP and gold every try.

you didnt pick your 1st unit, therefore it is impossible for you to raid the castle (and you cant on your 1st post anyway). please pick your starter unit on your next post.

A few updates before we get started: 1. we now have a total power on the character sheet, this will help me determine raids. 2. their will be alliances once this game gets going. when we get to about 15 people i will start them, just as a heads up. you will gain bonuses from your allies when you become part of an alliance, but again they are not starting now. 3. when raiding, give me a placement strategy of your units. this will help me determine how good you are strategically. 4. i will roll a standard 20-sided dice every raid! this will factor as a luck factor and is completely un-bias as i will roll every time. the higher the number the more luck you will have. this will also effect the amount of gold/XP gain on that raid.
notes: none of you will successfully raid the castle on your 1st try. you will probably need to gain more strength before that happens.

you did that wrong. very wrong. i'm assuming you picked heavy infantry, so i filled that in, but the whole description is not needed. you also need to fill out your name and visual description.

i said that in my last post. you may not form alliances until more people join, because right now that would be dumb. betrayal is a good idea...but it wouldnt really work, because your all in this game for a common goal.

thats an idea im willing to work with, but there are problems to that considering this is a game revolving around taking the castle not killing eachother.

you raid! and so it is. your luck roll was 12, which isnt bad nor good. you line your singular light infantry unit up to the yard in front of the castle. nothing is stiring, not even gaurds, because you strike during the dead of night. although a gaurd outside of the tower (it isnt really a castle yet) sees you, and sends alert. immediately ivory sends his only heavy infanrty unit ouyt to defend, while the cannon in the bunker takes aim. you charge at the line, and a cannon blows a chunk out of your mid-line. your unit is no match for the heavy infantry, yet you deal major casualties. in the end you escape, most of your unit destroyed or horribly wounded.
Loot: light infantry level 1 gains 4 XP! you gain 100 gold!
your XP/stats will be updated for you, dont touch your character sheet. your units heal and will be ready again at 7:30 tommorow night, 24 hour time.

You raid! your luck roll is 8! striking during the dead of night, you line your men under the full moon that just so happens to be there. your heavy infantry unit is full of fresh young men, and this is obviously their 1st attack. ivory however is on the fence with archene's 1st attack, and is ready for this one. he sends his heavy inf. unit out to get you, and arms the cannon. the units collide, and the cannon destroys some of your unit. the battle is close, but the cannon gives ivory the slight advantage he needs to defeat you. you retreat, completely destroying ivory's unit.

You raid again! your luck roll is a sad 4. this time, your strike takes place at full noon while your men are fully fed and ready for attack. you once again line your light infantry up to attack. ivory sends his heavy infantry, and you collide once again. the cannon does the same as it did last time, blowing some of your men up. your light inf unit is slightly stronger then last time, but still little resistance to ivory's unit. you retreat, gathering the men you can.
loot: light infantry gains 3 XP! you gain 50 gold!
keep in mind guys that you can buy units at any time. soon i will post the full list, i have many more ideas to come. the castle status will be on the next post directly after this one.
updates: tomorrow i will be starting random events! these are events that could be triggered anytime (judging by luck rolls). these events will mostly be triggered during battle, but might not always be. they could be bad or good. anything from "a commander joins you" (which i will have details on if it happens) to "a plague strikes and you cannot raid" if you try.
