I grew up atheist for 16 years. I had always kept an open mind towards religion, but never really felt a need to believe in it. My sister started going to a Wednesday night children's program at a church. Eventually, I was dragged into a Christmas Eve service. Scoffing, I reluctantly went, assuming that this was going to be a load of crap, but when I went, I felt something. Something that I've never felt before. I felt a sense of empowerment and a sense of calling. Jesus called upon my soul, just like he did with his disciples. he wanted me to follow him. Now, my life is being lived for Christ. He died on the cross for my sins, and the sins of everyone who believes in him. He was beaten, brutalized, struck with a whip 39 times, made to carry a cross up to the stage of his death. This I believe to be true, and I can never repay him for what he has done.
I still have my struggles with Christianity, but I've found this bit of information most useful. Religion is not comprehensible in the human mind, because we cannot comprehend the idea of a perfect and supreme being, a God, but we can believe it in our heart, and that's the idea of faith. Faith is, even though everything rides against me believing in Jesus, I still believe in him because I know that it's true in my heart. I invite my fellow Brothers and sisters of the LORD to talk about how Jesus has helped you in your life. No atheists and no insults please

he more times your run the test, the more likely it becomes true

how many times have you been able to physicaly test god?

0 times. so that means a 0% chanch of truth

As has been said many times by you guys, God doesn't interfere with free will. Raising and caring for a child does have us interfering with their free will. Particularly when they are unable to understand verbal commands.

We never said he cannot effect our free will. Of course he can. He's omnipotent. We are just saying he doesn't effect everything and anything.

and evolution is not science. we were talking about science.
evolution is just a very tiny part of science.

And it is the tiny part of science we are trying to consult in this thread. Or should I ask a cosmetologist about the topic?

200 = 2000 ofcourse

I like how you word things wrong, and then insult me because I interpret them wrong.

the big bang theory = not evolution

it dosent have to be about evolution. it was an example of a retarded theory. evolution does however work off of the theory that we emerged from the goo, which is another retarded theory

If I told you before the time of Newton that there is gravity keeping us on Earth, would that have a 0% chance to be true?

on the contray, evolution is a rather large part of science

you simply have no idea what science is.

On what grounds do you base your argument, partydevil?

On what grounds does he base his argument? Google, the fact he had an education, and he knows how to operate a computer and is aware there is a debate of creationism and evolution.

are you just playing stupid or are you realy that dumb?

how so?

evolution is just 1 of the millions theorys that uses science to collect proof for it's theory.

You know, I try to keep a calm attitude and assume everyone has an upper hand on me intellectually, (For safety reasons) but you are making it very hard.

evolution is just 1 of the millions theorys that uses science to collect proof for it's theory.

So science has an overall agenda to serve? Because that is what you just said.

i know that. but a large part of science is based on just this one theory, so even if this theory is not a big part of science by itself, it is made that way by many other parts of science.

You realize that, "Just this one theory" is as proven as possible to prove, has hundreds of thousands of papers backing it, along with other fields of science and actual observations of evolution, right? In science, you can pretty much substitute "theory" with "fact."

If you want to call it that. Science is simply the observation and testing of our universe/world, and applications for such knowledge.

it may be among the most proven things in many people's eyes, but you can't just replace theory with fact, because it is still nothing more than a theory.

Thus showing you do not in fact know what a scientifc theory even is.
