Okay, so, apparently TRF wants to lose the old thread until such time as Dibs sees fit to return. So, as per his request, I have made a new thread. I, of course, don't see exactly why this is necessary, but I suppose it won't hurt anything to accommodate Turf. So, I guess this will just be a continuation of the prior thread with the old characters and we'll pick up where Dibs left off. I suggested that Noob DM this one, but being that he doesn't have any of the source material beyond what's on the internet, he declined. That being the case, if there are no objections, I guess I will be DMing this one. I won't have access to my books myself for another week or two, so if it's okay, I guess I'll be using a homemade campaign. And as far as the campaign goes, expect to see a lot of stuff that's not exactly D&D canon, because, as I said, I don't have my sourcebooks right now. Unless, of course, someone else wants to DM, in which case, I'd be more than happy to step aside. Unfortunately, I do not think that this game will be accepting any more players. This thread is here for the sole purpose of reducing clutter in the other. It will actually be a lot easier - it was getting to be a pain, navigating that other one with all the pages it had(we were almost at 4,000!). To start off, I'm going to request that we all post our sheets(I'll track mine down later) and if there is anyone who would like to DM or has any requests to that effect or which concern the next campaign, speak now or forever hold your peace. Cheers.
I told you, he Readies an Action. It means he attacks them just before they hit him, but he waits until he can reach them.
Ok. Rafel casts Summon Monster III, summoning a Celestial Hippogriff. "Anyone want a lift?" he asks, pointing to the hippogriff.
Just then, the wyverns attack. One flies towards Bel, the other towards Free. They both try to grab the people with their claws and haul them into the sky. Free easily disengages himself from the grapple attempt. Bel does the same. The wyverns swoop back, circling. It's clear they're going to try for another pass. Lucas also prepares an attack.
Yep. You missed both times, I just didn't want to type it out. Same with the AoO. Free throws one chunk of stone at the wyvern, hitting it. He then throws another, which also hits(just barely). Carl shoots at the wyvern with his bow, but misses.
And what happened to Bel's attack?
Oh, right. Sorry. I typed it out but I guess I accidentally erased it(highlight by accident then start typing, you know). He hits the wyvern.
Bel readies himself for the next attack. Rafel casts Mage Armor on Bel. The remaining Wyvern swoops in to attack Free. This time, it uses its claws to gash at him. It misses. Lucas does nothing. Free tosses two more rocks at the wyvern. He misses the first time, and hits the second. Carl shoots his bow at the wyvern. He hits. Rafel does nothing. The wyvern makes a pass at Bel this time. It claws at him, but its attack skates off the Mage Armor. Lucas does nothing. Free throws another set of rocks. He misses the first time, but hits the second. Bel prepares another attack. Rafel passes on his turn. The wyvern attacks Bel again, and hits for 9 damage. Bel attacks. He hits the first time, and the second. Free throws more rocks. He hits the first time, but misses the second. Carl shoots his bow at the wyvern. It hits. Bel readies another attack. Rafel casts Cure Light Wounds on Bel, which heals almost all of the wound he sustained before. The wyvern attacks Bel. It successfully grabs him in its claws and flies upward. Free throws more rocks. The second hits, the first does not, but he kills the wyvern. Bel, along with the wyvern's corpse, drops down. He lands for 8 damage.
