Okay, so, apparently TRF wants to lose the old thread until such time as Dibs sees fit to return.
So, as per his request, I have made a new thread. I, of course, don't see exactly why this is necessary, but I suppose it won't hurt anything to accommodate Turf.
So, I guess this will just be a continuation of the prior thread with the old characters and we'll pick up where Dibs left off. I suggested that Noob DM this one, but being that he doesn't have any of the source material beyond what's on the internet, he declined. That being the case, if there are no objections, I guess I will be DMing this one. I won't have access to my books myself for another week or two, so if it's okay, I guess I'll be using a homemade campaign. And as far as the campaign goes, expect to see a lot of stuff that's not exactly D&D canon, because, as I said, I don't have my sourcebooks right now. Unless, of course, someone else wants to DM, in which case, I'd be more than happy to step aside.
Unfortunately, I do not think that this game will be accepting any more players. This thread is here for the sole purpose of reducing clutter in the other. It will actually be a lot easier - it was getting to be a pain, navigating that other one with all the pages it had(we were almost at 4,000!).
To start off, I'm going to request that we all post our sheets(I'll track mine down later) and if there is anyone who would like to DM or has any requests to that effect or which concern the next campaign, speak now or forever hold your peace.
Cheers.

Check out the book, scrolls, shelves, cupboards, and library in that order.

Wouldn't the light completely destroy her so the stake wouldn't be necessary? Also, he is outside.

Yeah if you just stake it it'll come back you need the light, or cut off it's head and stuff holy wafers in it's mouth.

Dibs, you misread. I say just light, no stake to save the villagers the sight of it.

Check out the book, scrolls, shelves, cupboards, and library in that order.

The books are full of instructions for priests, priestesses, and the Daughter of Selune in particular. In addition, there are various financial ledgers and other assorted notes from the clergy. In short, nothing important to you.
There are three scrolls. Two of them are filled with strange words and symbols, magical runes that Free does not understand. The third scroll is a recipe for mince pie, apparently written by Sharill's mother.
Most of the cupboards are empty, but one contains books belonging to a previous "Daughter of Selune". Looking behind them, you find a small vial filled with a strange bubbling dark blue liquid. The vial is labeled "Incomplete Potion of Undead Control".

I take the scrolls that I do not understand to the others, and I pocket the potion and recipe, unless there is anything else to check, my race can detect secret doors.

Nope, nothing else.
Lol. You seriously took the recipe for mince pie?

You show the scrolls to the others. Like you, Bel cannot read the strange writing on the scrolls: in fact, he cannot read at all. However, when you give the scrolls to him, Rafel recognizes them both immediately.
"This is a Scroll of Stone Tell," he informs you, holding up one scroll, "and this is a Scroll of Resurrection." He holds up the other.

"What is 'Stone Tell' and what should we do with the other scroll."

"Can Sharill be resurrected as she was before she changed?"

"I don't think that's possible, I think she would come back as the beast, unless you put her in the sun, in which case I think she won't ever be coming back." Yes Hyper I actually took the recipe, Free does enjoy to eat and drink.

"What is 'Stone Tell' and what should we do with the other scroll."

"It's fairly self explanatory," Rafel says. "You gain the ability to speak with stones for a short time, just like the spell."

"Can Sharill be resurrected as she was before she changed?"

"Yes," Rafel says, nodding. "If we use the scroll on her, she will be restored to life and perfect health. She will no longer be a vampire."

Who wants the Scroll of Stone Tell?

He smiles.
"I believe that the villagers would like that very much. We should make sure she understands that the murders she committed weren't her fault if she mentions them."

Bel can't read or Read Magic. No scroll for him.

"What good does talking to rocks." I'll take it, he's always wanted to have a stare down with a boulder. It said in the monster manual that vampires get revived as vampires, since they don't die they get utterly destroyed so either way it will have no effect on her, you need like a wish or miracle spell to fix her.

Resurrection and true resurrection can affect undead creatures. These spells turn undead creatures back into the living creatures they were before becoming undead.
