Okay, so, apparently TRF wants to lose the old thread until such time as Dibs sees fit to return. So, as per his request, I have made a new thread. I, of course, don't see exactly why this is necessary, but I suppose it won't hurt anything to accommodate Turf. So, I guess this will just be a continuation of the prior thread with the old characters and we'll pick up where Dibs left off. I suggested that Noob DM this one, but being that he doesn't have any of the source material beyond what's on the internet, he declined. That being the case, if there are no objections, I guess I will be DMing this one. I won't have access to my books myself for another week or two, so if it's okay, I guess I'll be using a homemade campaign. And as far as the campaign goes, expect to see a lot of stuff that's not exactly D&D canon, because, as I said, I don't have my sourcebooks right now. Unless, of course, someone else wants to DM, in which case, I'd be more than happy to step aside. Unfortunately, I do not think that this game will be accepting any more players. This thread is here for the sole purpose of reducing clutter in the other. It will actually be a lot easier - it was getting to be a pain, navigating that other one with all the pages it had(we were almost at 4,000!). To start off, I'm going to request that we all post our sheets(I'll track mine down later) and if there is anyone who would like to DM or has any requests to that effect or which concern the next campaign, speak now or forever hold your peace. Cheers.
*facepalm* You have to look under vampire, you dol dae ga ri, not eastern vampire. It's a subtype. I assure you it exists. At the very least, it exists in the black MM with the beholder on the cover(the one I own). It's also in the module.
Well I've looked through 5 monster manuals, and I am looking through anything that is vampire related, sure I've found plenty of variants but no eastern vampire, what edition do you have.

Uhh...1st or 2nd ed, I think. It's my dad's and all of his books are ancient.
I looked at the copyright, apparently it's from 1993. It's AD&D, not normal, and like I said, black hardcover with beholder, dragon, lich, minotaur, and (I think) ankheg on the cover.
"We believe we may be able to bring her back to life like she was when you knew her."
Rafel reads the scroll and Sharill is restored to life and her former health before being turned into a vampire. The entire village thanks you, they're incredibly grateful, etc, and they all pretty much empty their banks. You are given 11 gold(the original fee from the soldiers, rounded up) from the soldiers, and from the citizens you get 150 gold, eternal thanks and welcome in Moonhearth, the friendship of the Amnwater Blues, and the gratitude of the goddess Selune for restoring her lost priestess. In addition, Namble Swiftfoot also gives you his magic sword, Blackflame. It's a Longsword +1/+4 against undead that is engulfed in black flames whenever you get within 10 feet of the undead.
So, split evenly, you would each get 53 gold, and there are two spares that can't be split evenly(you two can have that, Rafel doesn't want it). Whoever wants the sword can have it, it wouldn't do much good in the hands of the wimpy-*** spellcaster, and besides, I already got the Scroll of Stone Tell(unless Free still wants it).
"Aha a celebration I saw, I shall prepare of feast of Mince pie and my famous carbuncle of the flesh stew, I will need someone to grate the turnip and someone to massage the squid."
Bel helps Sharill to her feet when she is revived and kisses the back of her hand. "Welcome back to the world of the living."
"Thank you for everything," she replies.
Bel accepts the sword (since he has gotten no loot so far).
So Bel gets the sword, Rafe gets the scroll, and Free gets the potion and fancy holy symbol. Seems fair enough.
"I appreciate it, truly," Rafel says, "but I could not possibly take this money. You need it far more than I do." He returns the 52 gold he got.
"Aha a celebration I saw, I shall prepare of feast of Mince pie and my famous carbuncle of the flesh stew, I will need someone to grate the turnip and someone to massage the squid."
"Sounds good," Rafel says, "but I should rest to recover from the battle, and study my spells again." "If you need to stay the night here in town," says one citizen, apparently the local innkeeper, "you are more than welcome to, free of charge. And if you want a feast, sir, we can do that for you. Only the best."
