I once had an evolution Rpg that was doing really well. It had lot's of players and everything was going great, but then I just quit it. I can't forgive myself for doing that, the players seemed to be having fun and I just stopped. I can't look too good after saying that, but I will try once more. Here is the new game, it is almost exactly the same but I have made many tweaks to make it more bearable, both for the player and me. Some things I have simplified to make it easier for me to keep, and some things made more complicated for the enjoyment of the player. Some things may have even been straightly copied from the previous one. This time I wont quit. And If I do, then I will stab myself with a pickle.
It is much recommended that you see the original one here, since it explains the game more in depth.

Prologue
"The NeoZero - 027 project was a complete failure. Not only did the core overheat and cause extinction to all of the animals, but it also imploded and took 26 other planets from the Neon-1000 Star system with it. Only 3 planets remain, and 028 is the one that shows the most potential to be The Last Opportunity Of The Era Of New Species. We are about to send the specimen... Neon Hope this works..."
That is all you remember before feeling huge amounts of G-forces and a splash. Of course you didn't understand any of it, but it's nice to have a feeling of past in your primitive brain. You seem to be floating in an empty space, filled with nothingness. Until you open your eyes.

Species Score (SS)
Species Score is what ranks you in the TSR (Top Species Ranking). The System goes like this:
Each:-
Skill Point = 1 Point XP Point = 0.5 Point Lvl = 10 Points
Each XP point gives only half a point because otherwise when you got a level, the level would give you 10 points but if you had let's say 15 xp and each xp gave 1 point, you would lose more points than you got. This will still be a problem later in the game, but maybe I will change the scoring system when it gets to that.

That should be all. I know it's long but I spent about 2 weeks trying to come up with things that would make it better and simpler, even though I think it just got more complicated. Anyway, it's 1 AM here now, so I'm gonna leave this overnight so people can join if they wish. It would be a downer if no one joined, I spent a lot of time on this. But when wouldn't it be sad if no one joined your game..?

You start flapping your fins and struggle to go against the current. It isn't even a strong stream, but you are so small that even this proves you trouble at this stage. Your friend cells seem to lack the smartness to care any interest on what you are doing, but they slowly start following you. The current finally ends and you find yourself at a small seaweed plantation that is rising all the way from the bottom of the ocean. Other insects and cells are eating it too, but they seem to be enjoying it peacefully. There doesn't seem to be any competition over the seaweed, after all it is big enough for all of them. You feel smart about finding it all by yourself, and you also got quite a workout from swimming to the current. So, do you join the others on eating the seaweed, or do you do something entirely else? You can do anything around the sea to get skill increases and xp. You should too see the original game if you need examples about this.
I'm sorry, I mixed that up. Sometimes players are doing pretty much the same thing, so I just copy-paste the stuff for both of them, but I forgot to change that for you. Can't go without mistakes usually.
I suppose by 'the moving thingy' you meant the cell.. So you eat the gray cell in a single bite as it's passing you. The meat fills your stomach and you feel proud of yourself. Now that you've eaten, what do you do? You can perform any tasks here to get skill points and xp. You can see the original game for examples if you need.

I look around, in case there's anything else to do; not interested in the seaweed, at least not right now. I don't stray too far from this area though, since I feel kind of safe here, but I do in specific search for some kind of meat, just to 'change flavours'. Also, I am surprised by the fact I can now see much further (considering the fog is gone and my eyes have more or less adjusted).

You don't have to swim for a long time before you come across 2 gray cells that are looking at you. When you approach them, they quickly start swimming away from you seeing what you did to their friend. The speed that they are moving is pretty fast, and since you haven't trained your agility yet, you can't catch them. Other than that, there isn't much going on here, but since the fog has cleared you can suddenly see better. You look far away into the ocean and see lot's of moving things, some are much bigger than the others, some are long and thin, some swim alone and others go in groups. It is only now that you realize how huge this world is that you are in.
Well you haven't been "Gone" in it's literal sense, I just remembered you from the "Discover Yourself Laboratories" Rpg I had, and thought it's nice that you joined this one too. (Btw if you were wondering, my internet connection was way too bad back then, that's why I couldn't continue it.)
You have opened your eyes for the very first time. You See a huge blue world with lot's of creatures and things that you can't even try to understand. You are confused as to what happened earlier, and as you look around you see pieces of stone that are now sinking deeper into the blue abyss. A green piece of phytoplankton floats past you. It's even smaller than you are, which makes you wonder what could you do with it. Pretty much the only thing you can do is eat it. But in the same time something is moving at your direction, but it isn't just floating like the plankton. It is controlling it's movements. It's another cell, but this one isn't turquoise like you. It's an orange one, and it seems to be interested in you. But it is also smaller than you... Your racial types suggest 'unhostile' but would you rather eat meat than plankton? Or how do you go about this other cell?
Yes, exactly! I in specific did that so you could see further now that you are also comfortable with your being.
You wander around the seaweed from a good enough range, but now that the fog has cleared you can keep an eye on it without getting lost. You swim a little further away from it to find whatever it is that your brain is searching for, in these beginning times for you it doesn't matter what you're looking for, as long as at the end of the day you get some satisfaction, that's how you evolve. Some other cells swim past you and they are also going to the seaweed, but you are not interested in them. Your eyes get a target from something that is a lot deeper in the sea: A glowing piece of.. something. "Glowing meat? That can only be good, right...?" One might think to themselves. But what is your opinion? You also get a better feeling of the world you are in, and gain some intelligence.

I move towards the location of the glowy meat, but at the same time am very wary of my surroundings. Wouldn't want to be caught off guard by that... thing I'm approaching, or anything else, for that matter. What I want to do, if things go smoothly, is consume whatever I'm getting closer to.

The cell is following you with utter interest. It must be a racial thing, it's genes are automatically making it be your friend. And why wouldn't it be? It's not like it knows many other things to trust. Then again it probably doesn't know the meaning of trust. Let's just say it wants to be your friend. While you are trying to figure out the cells purpose, you get blinded, for a second or so, but you back away and look up. Millions of bright strands of light are coming from up there. You don't really know what it is but you automatically get interested. What do you do?

As far as you know, it's only one piece, so you eat it. You don't know yet if this will be your main food, but until otherwise decided, you shall be a herbivore. When you have eaten it, the other cell stops moving. It stares at you from a short distance, but this stare doesn't seem like smiling. You can't be quite sure what the other cell is thinking, but it just keeps looking at you. What do you do?
As you swim deeper, your interest starts to feel more like doubt. When you're close enough to the glowy thing, it moves backwards a little bit. You stop to think for a second. You are pretty deep and it is darker down here. You don't see others here, they are all at the safe seaweed. Do you want to eat the glowing.. thing?

News: The Neon is shining so hard, some of the Frozen areas are slowly melting. The Bone-Angler is still the king of the Sea at this point, and no species has beaten it yet.
As long as it seems weak enough and no real danger is visible, then yes. Mostly out of curiosity, really. And that whole preach I heard about "trying new stuff" . If it tries to run away, I do give chase for a while, but not too long; if it goes too deep, I give up and swiftly return to the seaweed.

You continue to move towards the glowing thing, when suddenly you see 2 huge eyes behind the light. The light lifts up and the enormous mouth of a Bone-Angler opens! (It's like a big Anglerfish but with bony structure) It had lured you into it's trap with the light, and tries to bite you, but you are just quick enough to avoid the first bite. You are in complete shock, mostly because you didn't get food but also because you might die soon.. What do you do? (The Bone-Angler is going to keep attacking, I just wanted you to be aware of this and give you a freedom of choice.)
You and your ally swim upwards, until you come across a weird moving field. A smarter being would easily understand that this is where the water stops and the air begins, but to you this is amazing. The light shines straight at your eyes, which first makes you feel sad that you can not see, but then you kind of start to like the warm feeling. What do you do?
The cell soon gets irritated and leaves. (Heh, not much else going on.) But you could use your time underwater to train some of your skills, for example swimming really fast around the ocean can give you an agility boost, etc.
