You did pass the blacksmith shop on the way here, and saw that it was empty and had some blood on the floor. Maybe he's the wrong guy? But maybe he's just observant and made up a believable lie.

It takes a few shots, but you are able to hit a wing and attract all of them. However, there are too many of them and one of them pushes you to the ground. It slashes it's claw at you, doing some serious damage. -30 HP. But then a guard stabs it. Eventually you finish all of them, then notice another one in the air. But this one is much larger, and it almost instantly kills all the guards and disappears.

After five days you make it to the northern border of Sequis Forest. A human walks up to you. It's the same one that gave you the job back in Arhel. "Oh, thank the gods you've come(Olarnith has a polytheistic religion). We were able to take care of the creature, but we've found more of them. We need you to help us kill them." You see a creature in the sky. It's skin in pure black, and it has a long spiked tail and large wings. It's about 10 feet tall and doesn't have scales, so it can't be a Dracosapien. Then five more appear. "There they are!" says the human. "These things are more powerful than they look. Our troops will handle the first one, you have to take care of the rest."
