-----Warning-----

This game is pretty darn complicated. Use detailed posts for better story. Also try to keep your grammar clean and use punctuation. Everyone makes typos, but when u type liek dis its frustrating. Thanks.

-----The Game-----

You live in a small settlement in the middle of a desert, in this strange setting of a universe where there live strange creatures that are part machine and part monster. You must survive with your allies, gathering resources and fortifying your home when it's light, and defending it from endless waves of creatures when night falls. You will need food, water, weapons, and whatever you can get to survive.
Firearms are rarer than melee weapons.

-----Info-----

-This is multiplayer, and you must work together.
-No player limit decided yet, but probably no more than 10
-You have needs. The obvious ones are food, water and rest, but you will for example need to keep yourself from going insane by doing some activities and stuff.
-Turning against other players is.. well, it's a possibility you can take, but it's rarely a pleasant one.
-If your sanity goes too low, the story will be different for you than the others. For example, you might get "Bob calls you an idiot." while the player of Bob actually said you fought well. Worse than that is you partially lose control of your character, but this is only if you're really insane.
-The creatures get stronger the longer the game goes on. You will want to be prepared.
-Some items don't have weight. Bolts and ammo, for example.
-The art is all done by me

-----The Map-----

This is where you live. About 4 Square kilometers of desert, a river going trough it, with forests and mountains around it. And you live in the middle. Next to the river.
You can see a red danger-zone marked on the map around the desert, this is where the creatures are. Staying away from the danger-zones is recommended, but unfortunately the forests are pretty close to them so getting wood and other resources can be risky.
Even if you don't go near the danger-zones at all, the night will make the creatures run wild, and that's when they will attack your home, despite your actions.

The whole area around your home can be used for constructing more buildings and defenses. It's all in your use, and it's very much advisable to do something with it. For building, you will need materials like wood, metal, fences, bolts, anything you can scavenge from abandoned houses and such (not marked on the map). The forest is also a main resource gathering area.

-----Fighting-----

Fighting is very much final fantasy like. You decide what you use and who do you use it on, and it does certain things. Usually damage. You can miss too, this mostly only happens with ranged weapons.
Fighting outside your home without the shelter is way more dangerous - only do it if absolutely necessary.

-----P.I.G-----

You are all equipped with a PIG. I mean the Portable Information Gadget. This device is like no other, all you need to do is ask about something you want more information about and you get it. Be it creatures or how long a human can hold their bladder. It's like the pokédex of tomorrow.

-----Diseases-----

Some of the creatures may carry diseases. Look out for signs of infections, or you might be in for a bad trip with a case of lungburst. You don't want to get that one, believe me.

-----Storage-----

You have a limited amount of storage space, and so does your inventory. This means you have to build more storage space if you run out. (The amount of space in the storage and your inventory is shown right after their names in [ ].

-----Skills-----

There are a LOT of skills in this game. But don't let this overwhelm you, those skills get better as you use them. Basically you don't have to worry about your skills until you notice something isn't working, then you need to start practicing on that skill. It's simple, really.

I like the way you host this game, its different than others and it makes it much more fun, but if you ever get tired of this, you can just post once a day, or you can take a small break and then continue with it a few days later or so. When I hosted some other games before, I got sick of them and then just stopped updating without a good reason and I felt bad just being silent and not getting on to update.

You go out for a jog around the house, and you notice that it isn't as bright out here anymore. When you run around the house, you see that the Pale cloaked guy has climbed on the roof. You keep running anyway. You are no longer wet, and you trained your running as well. But you've worked up quite a thirst by now. (Running +1)

I walk to the house and grab a bottle of water and I drink half of the water within it. Then, I try to find all of the other survivors and warm them about the horizon becoming dark, all except for the tall pale guy; I avoid him.

Alright, thanks for letting me know. I'll try to keep the game going slow for a couple of days so you don't get left out.

You go back in and throw a solid blow on the ginger, which sends him flying through the air and landing on one of the chairs, making the chair break into pieces. You feel amused.

You then go back outside as Greg goes in, and stay aware of any trouble. You see the sun is starting to slowly go down, and the sky is turning red. For a second or two, you feel the hotness of the desert go away, and you feel a freezing breeze go through your hair. The night is coming.

You get up and place the branches and the water bottle in the storage. (The water bottle is already full of water, it'll be "Empty bottle" if it's not.) The other one of the sticks was the one you sharpened and were using as a weapon.
As you are about to go trough the door outside, you stop for a second and your head hurts very badly again. You sneeze and cough, and you feel pretty weak. Then suddenly the pale cloaked guy comes in and punches you in the face, setting you to fly through the air and landing on one of the chairs and breaking the chair into pieces. Your nose is bleeding, you feel sick, and you're laying on the floor. The pale guy leaves the house with a smirk on his face before you can do anything about it. Greg then comes in and looks a little shocked.

What do you do? (I suggest you take a look at your status..)

Right. I think this will work if I don't get more players. The main thing that makes me want to not post, is seeing everyones posts, and thinking how some of their actions are intersecting with each other, and I need to come up with something that makes them work. But I'll manage it now I feel.

You go inside as the pale cloaked guy walks past you, and the first thing you see inside is the ginger guy laying on top of a broken chair. His nose is bleeding and he seems paler than normal. A guy with a long green cape is looking through some of your stuff. (I'll let you re-organize your actions due to the situation.) What do you do?

I try to find a branch that the size that it can bend without breaking. I take the knife from the storage, and look around for an animal (with hide). If I find one, I try to sneak up on it and kill it. If I'm succesfull, I carry the body bask to the 'settlement' and remove (part of) it's hide. I remove the fur with the knife and keep that aside. I grind the hide itself, add some water, and stir it to make some glue. Next, I look for some other branches that have worn down a bit. I rip off a lot off 'strings' of those, and tie them around eachother to make a rope. I immerse it in the glue, and test it's strength. I then search for another strong branch, and sharpen it's point with the knife. Using this stick, I make a hole in both ends of the bow-branch. Then I tie the provisionary rope between those, to finalize my bow. I search for some straight, long, sturdy sticks, suitable for arrows. I use the knife to make some holes in both sides of one end of the sticks, and use glue to attach the hide (in those holes). I search the bedrock for some small rocks, and sharpen them into arrowheads using another stone that lies comfortable in the hand. I make holes in the stones (with another stone) with the size of the arrows, and use some more glue to complete the arrows.

If, at any point in this process, complications arise, I'll try to resolve those first]

If i picked up the iron axe head I throw it at the Crawler's brain but if I did not then I would attempt to get close enough to hit it's brain while dodging it's claws.

Yeah, your doing great so far. Something that MAY help, is by updating the actions of others on a first come, first serve basis. So, if two players were in combat with each other, whoever posts first will have the first swing, or you could call it a 'turn'. But the way your doing it now is good. Stopping my action after I saw the ginger on the floor hurt and letting me change my action was a good choice!

I walk up to the guy with the long green cape, and tell him about the gingers situation, and warn him about being around the tall pale guy with the black cloak.

I then dig through the storage to find a First Aid Kit, and I try my best to help the ginger.
I notice that he also has an illness, so I try not to touch my face or let him cough or sneeze in my direction to prevent the illness from spreading to me, because I don't know if its contagious or not.

I try to stand up and steady myself. Then I rip of a part of my shirt to stop the bleeding. I go to the storage and try to use anything the first aid kit. I also get my stick and whack the one who punched me.

As you're looking through the stuff, a pale cloaked guy comes in the house and punches a ginger haired guy. He flies trough the air and lands on a chair, breaking it. His nose is bleeding and he seems pretty pale. The pale cloaked guy then leaves, as a cool looking tall guy comes in. He sees the situation and look shocked, then examines the ginger guy. After that he walks up to you and tells you about the guys situation, and that you should avoid the pale cloaked guy. Then he grabs the first-aid kit and helps the ginger guy, who then leaves the house with a sharpened stick.
You take a branch and the knife, then head outside. You notice it's getting darker out here, and the sky is turning red. You look for some animals, and you find a small squirrel-like creature near your house. You successfully catch it, and then bring it back to your house and do all that stuff you said. You take another branch and make some rope, then dip in in the glue you made from the hide. The rope seems strong. You then take another branch and sharpen it, using that to make holes on the previous branch. Then you tie the rope on it, making one fine bow. You feel proud of yourself. Unfortunately, your luck ends on finding materials for arrows, and you might need to go scavenging in forests or such to find them.

(For the record, I would have been perfectly fine with "I combine the branch with the vine", but I suppose you did get more experience this way.)

Oh right, the axe head. I suppose you did pick it up, you just didn't mention about it. You throw it at the clawer, and it partially shatters the glass sphere. Some blue liquid pours out, and the crawler stumbles, but it doesn't stop. It tries to hit you with it's claws, but it's too distorted so it misses. You then punch at it, but your bare hands hurt from hitting the glass. Then the crawler manages to scratch your leg, but the wound isn't deep. You proceed to kick it, which breaks the glass dome completely crushing the brain inside and makes it's claws seizure uncontrollably. The crawlers claws twitch one last time, and then it stops moving. You won. (Strength +1)
You then notice that it has gotten a lot darker out here. The sky has turned red and it isn't as hot anymore. What do you do?

You advice the guy with the green cloak and then pick up the first-aid kit and help the ginger guy. He soon stands up and rips off a part of his shirt to plug the bleeding, and uses some bandages from the first aid kit to heal the bruises. He then holds his head for a moment before storming outside with a sharpened stick. (Charisma +1)

You stand up slowly and get your bearings. Greg brings you a first-aid kit (you still haven't introduced yourself to him..), and helps you patch yourself up. Your head hurts again so you stand there and hold it for a while, but then you get your branch and you go outside after the pale cloaked guy. He's standing with his back turned to you and you're going to surprise him, but when you go to hit him he turns and grabs the stick, kicking you to your stomach at the same time. You cough some blood and feel like throwing up. You can't get up for some time. You aren't in too good shape right now.

You stand at the corner of the house, looking for a better spot to defend from. Then you hear the ginger stumbling behind you, so you turn and grab his branch just as his about to hit you. Then you kick him to the stomach and he falls to the ground. (Strength +1) He coughs some blood and goes into a fetal position. You also get his branch, but then you notice when you grabbed the branch it cut your hand a little bit. Oh well.

You advice the guy with the green cloak and then pick up the first-aid kit and help the ginger guy. He soon stands up and rips off a part of his shirt to plug the bleeding, and uses some bandages from the first aid kit to heal the bruises. He then holds his head for a moment before storming outside with a sharpened stick. (Charisma +1)

I stay inside the house, and I drink out of a bottle of water from the storage(all of it).

I then search the house for any electronics to tinker with and to learn a little more about technology, whether its broken or not.
